About Ben Watford

Friendly, professional, dedicated and undeniably experienced -  the very reasons why people have chosen Watford Realty for over 30 years.

Born into a family of grading and heavy equipment contractors, Ben grew up living and breathing land development, building homes and community. He carries on that family tradition through Watford Realty as he helps families and individuals navigate through the process of finding not just any house, but their future home. 

Community building is a daily activity for Ben, as he serves an integral role in literally building community in Thomasville.  He gives to his community in the way he knows how - building:

Ben Watford is a Life Member and past president of the Thomasville Jaycees. He served on their building committee during the construction of a 3,600 square foot clubhouse. For the building of a Habitat for Humanity house, Ben served as the project coordinator. In addition, he served as project chairman for major events such as Miss Thomasville Pageant, the Miss Thomasville Ball, the Christmas Parade, Empty Stocking Fund, Mills Home Day with children, Thomasville Jaycee Big Blast, Day in the Park celebration on the 4th of July and many others; with The PACE Group, he has served as project chairman for the Farmers Market, Hunter Family Amphitheater and is currently overseeing the Historic Downtown Restoration project.

In the business community, Ben has served on the Thomasville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Thomasville Board of Realtors Triad MLS Director for three years. In 2012, Ben received the Thomasville Chamber of Commerce  Outstanding Citizens Award

Ben Watford is deeply committed to Thomasville. You would be hard-pressed to find any realtor who knows or cares more about the city of Thomasville, the buildings, the land, the families, the communities,  and last but not least the homes in this vibrant city.
